Martha Clare Morris
DR. MARTHA CLARE MORRIS was a professor of epidemiology, the assistant provost for community research and the director of the Rush Institute for Healthy Aging and the MIND Center for Brain Health at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She led a team of researchers at Rush and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health to develop the MIND Diet. She is considered a pioneer in the field of research on nutrition and brain health.

With more than 20 years of experience in the Departments of Preventive Medicine and Clinical Nutrition at Rush University Medical Center, Jennifer has been a national leader in research and education on lifestyle-based brain health.
As the Lead Dietitian on the MIND Diet Trial to Prevent Alzheimer’s Disease and co-director of lifestyle interventions for the U.S. POINTER Study, Jennifer has shaped some of the largest U.S.-based investigations exploring how diet and behavior affect cognitive decline. She delivers clinician education, customized program development, and strategic partnerships for health systems looking to scale evidence-based MIND Diet initiatives.
