MIND Foods Tracker

People following the MIND diet have expressed great satisfaction with the simplicity of our tracking system, the MIND Foods Tracker, affectionately called the “Refrigerator Chart” by our research study participants. The intention of this chart is to keep track of your weekly MIND foods to ensure your eating habits are aligned with the pattern that research shows can help slow cognitive decline and prevent Alzheimer’s disease. We recommend keeping this tool visible right where eating and meal preparation takes place - the kitchen!

MIND Plate

The MIND Plate for Meal Planning provides a visual guide to building balanced meals with brain-healthy foods broken down into food categories to make meal planning simple. This practice is a way of reframing the way you think about meals. Instead of thinking about eating “breakfast” or “dinner” foods, expand your brain-health potential by considering the quality of the entire meal, including the portions within each food category. Learn more about how to build a healthy MIND Plate in The Official MIND Diet book or with the downloadable visual here. Download MIND Plate for Meal Planning activity here.
